Extended Cookie Policy

Foreword

This information is provided with reference to the sites www.kuraweb.it and www.pixelkura.it (“Sites”), on which Kura srl (“kura”) operates, under the distinguishing marks of “Kura”, “Pixelkura”, respectively, as the provider of the registration and sales service and as the operator of the Sites and owner of the Personal Data of the Users collected through the Sites. kura therefore provides a single information notice with reference to all the Sites and requires a single consent for the installation of cookies on all the Sites. What are cookies and what are they for

A cookie is a small text file that a website visited by the user sends to his terminal equipment (computer, mobile device such as smartphone or tablet) where it is stored in order to be retransmitted to that site on a subsequent visit to it. A distinction is made between cookies: depending on the entity that installs them on the user’s terminal, depending on whether it is the same operator of the site that the user is visiting (so-called “first-party cookies”) or a different site, which installs cookies through the first site (so-called “third-party cookies”);
according to the purpose of each cookie: some cookies allow the website that installed them to remember, for example, the preferences expressed by the user while browsing or to make a purchase or to authenticate in order to access restricted areas (so-called ‘technical cookies’);
other cookies allow the site that installed them to monitor the user’s navigation also for the purpose of sending advertisements and/or offering services in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the web (so-called “profiling cookies”). Only profiling cookies require the user’s prior consent to their use.
First- and third-party technical cookies and profiling cookies and/or other first- and third-party markers are installed through the Sites, as further described in the tables below.

Modalities for expressing consent to profiling cookies

On your first visit to the Sites, you may accept all cookies by clicking the ‘accept’ button in the banner at the top of the page.
In any case, through the browser settings. That is, the User can: (i) manage cookie preferences directly within his/her browser, preventing their installation; (ii) delete cookies already installed from his/her browser, including the cookie in which the User’s consent to the installation of cookies by the Sites, if any, has been saved. The User can find information on how to manage cookies through his/her browser at the following addresses: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Microsoft Windows Explorer.
For behavioural advertising cookies, the User can also set his or her preferences via the Your Online Choices website (the system operates with reference to member companies that use behavioural advertising cookies).

Technical cookies that do not require the User’s prior consent

Technical cookies are used to enable the Sites to function and/or to provide the User with a service or function that the User has expressly requested. They therefore guarantee normal navigation and use of the Sites, also allowing the preferences expressed by the User to be saved and thus optimising his or her navigation. The Sites use both first and third party technical cookies. The technical cookies used by the Sites can be divided into the following subcategories:
user input’ cookies: session cookies used to keep track of the data provided by the user by filling in the appropriate online forms (e.g. the forms present during the purchase process for entering the shipping or billing address) or, as in the case of the shopping cart, to remember the items that the user has selected and placed in the cart by clicking on the appropriate button;
authentication cookies: cookies used to identify the user after log-in and allow him/her to authenticate and access the content and/or functionalities for which such log-in is necessary (e.g. purchase; access to the Personal Area);
other functionality cookies: cookies that serve to activate specific functionalities of the Sites and to store the choices made by the User concerning the viewing of pages on the Sites;
“consent cookie”: a cookie that documents the User’s manifestation of consent to the installation of profiling cookies by performing one of the actions described in the banner/short notice;
recognises the User the second time he/she accesses the site so that he/she does not have to request consent to install cookies again; it has a duration of 12 months.
Other types of cookies or third-party tools that may use them

Some of the services listed below may not require the User’s consent or may be operated directly by the owner – as described – without the help of third parties.
If the tools listed below include services managed by third parties, these may – in addition to what is specified and also without the knowledge of the Owner – carry out tracking activities on the User. For detailed information on this, we recommend that you consult the privacy policies of the services listed.
