Description
Urinary tract infections occur when bacteria enter through the urethra and multiply in the urinary tract. The bacterium Escherichia coli, normally found in the intestine, is responsible for most of these infections, but other bacteria such as Proteus, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Enterococcus faecalis and Pseudomonas are also present.
Increased antibiotic consumption leads to increased bacterial resistance and relapse problems.
Mannospea, thanks to the synergic activity of its highly concentrated natural components, exerts a favourable preventive action against recurrences of bacterial cystitis and all diseases of the urogenital tract, both female and male. After regular use, it helps create physiological conditions that maintain the body’s natural defences, thus reducing the intake of antibiotics and counteracting the potential emergence of bacterial resistance
When to use Mannospea
It is recommended for use in cases of inflammation and infection of the male and female urogenital tracts:
- as a preventive strategy, in recurrent cases that tend to recur (cystitis and prostatitis)
- in the acute phase
- in the irritative symptomatology of the patient with bacterial prostatitis
- in patients with catheters, to reduce bacterial contamination
